1. The short version
We measure how our pages are used, so that we can improve them and know which of our pages and campaigns lead people to contact us. We do it in two ways: with our own visit count, which stores nothing on your device, and with Microsoft Clarity, which shows us how visitors use a page through heatmaps and session recordings.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, or if your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Clarity runs in a restricted mode: it sets no cookie on this website, though it may keep a key in your browser's session storage, and Microsoft may still set its own cookies on its domains. Elsewhere, Clarity sets its own cookies on this website, and Microsoft sets its own on its domains. We place no advertising tags on this website.
2. What we use
- Our own visit count. For each page view we record the page, the site that referred you, the campaign details in the link you followed, the type of device and your browser's time zone, which sections of the page you reached, which of its buttons and links you used, whether you started or sent our contact form, how far you scrolled and how long the page stayed open. Nothing is stored on your device. So that page views from the same browser on the same day count as one visitor, our server computes an identifier from your connection with a secret key; it changes every day, and we do not keep your IP address or your browser details.
- Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft. Heatmaps and session recordings of how visitors use our pages, so that we can improve them. Text typed into forms is masked. It sets cookies on this website (such as _clck and _clsk) and a key in your browser's session storage, and Microsoft sets its own cookies on its domains (such as MUID, CLID, ANONCHK, MR and SM). - Where your visit came from. When a link from one of our own pages or from one of our advertisements brings you here, it carries the page and the campaign details. We keep them in the page's memory while you browse, and send them with your message if you write to us, or with your booking if you book a call. Nothing is written to your device, and they are gone when you close the tab.
- Calendly, only when you open the booking panel on our contact page. Calendly's own cookies and notice apply inside it. Calendly Privacy Notice
- The private client area, reachable only after signing in, uses strictly necessary storage to keep you signed in and to remember whether you left the navigation panel open. These are exempt from the consent requirement under regulation 6(4) of the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, because the service you asked for cannot be provided without them. If you never sign in, they are never set. Nothing is measured or recorded there.
3. What we do not use
- No Google Analytics
- No advertising or remarketing pixels on this website, including Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising
- No social media embeds. Our social links are ordinary links; they set nothing until you click them
- No fonts or stylesheets loaded from third-party servers. The only third-party scripts are Clarity's, and Calendly's when you open the booking panel
4. Visitors in the United Kingdom, the EEA and Switzerland
When your browser's time zone places you in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or Switzerland, Clarity runs in its restricted mode: it sets no cookie on this website, and we do not ask you to switch its cookies on. It may still keep a key in your browser's session storage, and Microsoft may still set its own cookies on its domains. The same applies when your browser does not reveal its time zone, and, wherever you are, when your browser sends Global Privacy Control. Our own visit count never stores anything on any device.
5. Your choices
You can turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, and Clarity will run in its restricted mode wherever you are. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or block scripts from clarity.ms. The website works the same either way.
6. Personal data
Cookies are not the only way a website can process personal data. When you send us a message through our contact form, we do process what you write. That is covered in our Privacy Policy.
