Glow Saunas
From Architectural Vision to Manufacturable Product
Glow Saunas is a young Australian startup building premium sauna products for the modern home. With a clear architectural vision and an ambition to compete at the highest level, they needed a partner capable of bridging design intent, engineering precision, and market readiness. ONMOTIO stepped in to refine the product design, develop a scalable product system, build detailed 3D models for manufacturing collaboration, and produce the visual assets that would define the brand in market.
Design Refinement & Material Selection
The founders of Glow Saunas came with a strong architectural vision: clean lines, premium timber, and a modern approach to traditional sauna design. Our role was not to reinvent the concept, but to elevate it. We worked closely with the team to finalize the design direction, validating proportions, detailing panel joints and hardware integration, and conducting a thorough material selection process. The goal was to ensure every element, from the sustainably sourced timber to the glass door profiles, reflected the premium positioning the brand demanded. This phase laid the foundation for a product that looks and feels like a high-end piece of architecture, not a kit product.
Product System & Range Development
Designing not just a sauna, but a scalable product system. We translated the initial concept into a coherent product range, developing multiple configurations and sizes while maintaining a unified design language across the entire lineup. Each variation was engineered to share core components, simplifying manufacturing and reducing production costs without compromising the premium aesthetic. The product architecture was structured to support future expansion: new models, accessories, and configurations could be added seamlessly. This systemic approach gave Glow Saunas a competitive edge, allowing them to address different market segments with a consistent, recognizable identity.
3D Modeling & Manufacturing Collaboration
Turning premium intent into production-ready reality. We built highly detailed 3D models that served as the primary communication tool between Glow Saunas and their manufacturing partners. These models went far beyond visual representation: they included precise joinery details, material thickness specifications, hardware mounting points, and assembly sequences. The manufacturer used them directly to validate production feasibility, iterate on tooling, and confirm tolerances. This collaborative loop, enabled by the quality of the 3D data, significantly reduced back-and-forth, accelerated the production timeline, and minimized costly errors during manufacturing setup.
Marketing Content & Digital Assets
