Founded in 2017 by engineers and designers with backgrounds in aviation, transportation, and high-performance product development, ONMOTIO is a London-based studio built with a clear objective: bring real products to market, not just concepts.
We work at the intersection of industrial design and engineering, helping founders and companies transform ideas into manufacturable, market-ready products. Our approach is grounded in technical rigor, structured thinking, and a deep understanding of real-world constraints.
That intersection is our approach. Design and engineering are worked together from the first sketch, and the engineering serves the design: the form and the experience a product was imagined for are kept, and made to work, hold up and go through the factory.
Over the years, we have collaborated with startups, scale-ups, and established companies across multiple industries, delivering products that are not only visually compelling, but engineered to perform, scale, and succeed commercially. Since 2017: 150+ projects delivered, 50+ products shipped, and CES Innovation Awards Honoree in 2020 and 2021.

[ PARTNER NETWORK ]
Since 2017 we have built a network of freelancers, partner studios and factories that we work with project after project. Each one joined after delivering on one of our projects, and stays because they keep delivering.
Series injection molding, small-batch production, textile, upholstery and leather, high-power test benches, AI model development, sheet metal, welding, and more. We coordinate them for you, so you keep one point of contact. When a product needs a specialty outside the core team, we bring in the right person instead of saying no.

ONMOTIO is led by a core team of designers and engineers with complementary expertise across product design, mechanical engineering, and prototyping. The team operates across multiple locations, allowing continuous progress and close collaboration with clients worldwide. Our two co-founders and our head of product development lead every project, with three industrial designers and three engineering and prototyping specialists alongside them. One of the three leads stays your contact from the brief to the prototype.
